Looking to move

Here's a card I printed in hopes of moving out of this rut I'm in. I have lost my nerve and I haven't sent this around at all. I'm going to California at the end of July for a vacation. Perhaps I'll distribute them around then. The real hang-up is that I want to stay close to my son and as far as I can tell,  his mother wants to live in New Orleans. I'm looking for a break here. Any ideas?

Carnival 2012

Here is my ephemeral comment for Carnival 2012. I used to toss them out my shop window on the passing Eris parade. This year my old shop building is being converted to condos and Eris has been busted and pushed even further to the edge. I have some sadness at the orderly march to profit and success that leaves so many of us picking through the trash for our survival. But even so, and especially during Carnival, we thumb our noses at those who seek control and we continue to embody our freedom.

Here are a couple of things I made for the occupy movement. A small button and a poster.

Tarir Means Freedom

A little button I made to honor our sisters and brothers in Egypt.

Abusive Relationship

Here's a poster I did just after the big BP oil spill last year.

Our Abusive Partner

If only we could just take the kids and go back to Mom's place for a while and figure out how to rebuild our lives without the bastard.

Improvement

There is lots of talk and action here these days about saving and preserving culture. I say we don't need permits or regulation or preservation or improvement. Just leave us alone. If someone is hurting you, tell them to stop it. If they don't, gather the community around and we'll come up with a solution.
